I have decided to create a challenge. I know I don't have a ton of readers, but maybe this would be a way to expand my readership. It would also be a way to expand my cake decorating skills.
Rach's March Challenge: St. Patrick's Day theme
Rules:
- Bake and decorate something that fits the monthly theme. I would prefer cakes, but you can do cupcakes, brownies, bread, etc.
- Your entry should be edible.
- Post your entry the last day of the month, include at least one picture.
- Have fun!
On March 31st write a post and include pictures of your baked good. I'll announce a new challenge for the month of April. I will try to figure out how to add a link list to my post that day, but for now, leave a comment or send me an e-mail, rachescakes (at) gmail (dot) com, if you would like to participate. On the 31st I will list your blog post so that everyone else can see your work.
Feel free to invite your readers to join this challenge.

I'll participate! I've always wanted to get involved in a monthly baking group, but I feel overwhelmed by the amount of people that participate that I don't do it.
But I can manage this! Are there any other restrictions besides being a "St. Patty's theme"?
Monica
I wrote this post, and then changed it completely. My only other rule is that it has to be edible. I just wanted it to be simple and fun.
Oh, and I figured out how to do the link list so the day of the posting anyone who wants to participate will be able to add their link that day.
I'm glad you are participating, now I won't be the only one.
I am afraid, I am going to forget to share the information on the last day of the month. Is there any way, it can be sent to you when baked and put aside for the necessary time. Not trying to be difficult - just know my shortcomings.
Would you like me to post this on my blog? I am a new blogger but someone is looking at it. Maybe you can pick up some people to stop by here.
I suggest if you know any old timers, you ask them if they can help you out and post it, also.
Let me know if you want me to write a post about it.
