Rach's March Challenge

My challenge, a 2 tiered chocolate cake filled with Bailey's Irish Creme mousse, then covered with a chocolate glaze.

I had never made mousse before and it really wasn't too bad. The glaze was simple and delicious.

I had this idea in my head, and it tasted wonderful, but the result wasn't as great as I had hoped. Normally if I want to smooth out the sides of a cake, I would freeze it, and then cut away the cake. I was nervous about freezing the cake because of the mousse, so I left the uneven edges alone.

The clover was made out of fondant. I cut 3 hearts, pinched them together in the center, and then added a stem.

I couldn't figure out how to do the Mr. Linky thing, so I am listing the other participants here. If you are participating too, please leave a note in the comments or send me an e-mail (rachescakes@gmail.com) and I will add you.

I like all the uneven sides. it gives it character and more for the glaze to cling to.

Speaking of glaze, I want a spoon to scoop up all that extra glaze! Yum!
