Ghirardeli Grand Fudge Cake

This may be my new go-to chocolate cake.

Ghirardeli Grand Fudge Cake
2 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. Ghirardeli unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 1/3 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease & flour 2 (I used 3) 9.5"x1.5" round pans.
In medium bowl combine: flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, & salt. Set aside.
In large bowl, cream butter & sugar on medium-high speed until light & fluffy, about 4 minutes.
Reduce speed to low, add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, scraping bowl after each addition.
Alternately add flour mixture & milk, starting and ending with flour mixture, while mixing on low speed.
Continue to mix until smooth.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until tester comes out clean.
